Galley Hole 13 - Galley Lee

HOLE 13 - GALLEY LEE 403 Yards, Par 4, Stroke Index 1

This stroke index one hole is where many medal rounds have been ruined.  The fairway slopes from left to right so keeping as close to the left edge of the fairway is your aim, but not easy.
It takes 2 decent hits to reach the elevated green in 2, but a shot that is hit slightly left has a good chance of ending up out of bounds, and one that misses the green by the smallest margin to the right may well end up 30 to 60 yards from the green, leaving a testing pitch back up the hill.  Most golfers will tend lay up with their 2nd shot hoping to avoid a big number.
