Galley Hill Course

At 6401 yards in length, with a Par and SSS of 71, the Galley Hill Course is recognised as one of the best in Bedfordshire and surrounding counties. Although it is only 30 years old, much of it was part of the previous layout and therefore, the quality and reputation of South Beds that once lead Harry Vardon to describe it as Bedfordshire's hidden gem, remains to this day. With out-of-bounds running alongside 14 of the holes, the Galley Hill Course offers a stern test and is a regular choice for County Championships. However, the Club is not sitting on its laurels and has started a five-year modification programme to keep equipment improvements in check.
